The Museum Shop specialises in publications relating to the heritage of the area: especially, and for instance, the Somerset coal fields and the Somersetshire Coal Canal.
The shop also sells items that will remind you of your special visit.
There is a cosy Tea Shop, open in the afternoons, for a selection of refreshments and homemade cakes.
The museum has full disabled access including a lift to the upper galleries.
There is some designated disabled parking outside the Museum.
